More than two million tonnes of plastic packaging are disposed of in the UK every year. Such packaging is extremely environmentally costly both to produce and to dispose of. Also, many university students in the UK just like us struggle financially, with half of them ‘running out of money’ before their next loan.

We believe that we can help tackle the issue of food-related packaging by encouraging bulk shopping through deliveries. This emerging form of grocery shopping eliminates single-use plastic and replaces it with reusable containers. We also believe that we have the power to help our peers enjoy better standards of living during their studies.

Our aim is to simultaneously reduce plastic waste and financial difficulties of students, while improving health by providing quality food. Environmental and social sustainability are at the heart of our mission, as well as a move towards a circular economy.
